Abstract

Neurologic manifestations are not frequent in Netherton syndrome (NS) and include either seizure disorders or spastic diplegia. We report a case of NS in a 6-year-old girl associated with epilepsy and mental retardation.
The discussion includes a review of the various signs and symptoms in this syndrome and its relationship with epilepsy and mental retardation.
