Cutis marmorata telangiectatica congenita.

Abstract

The Authors review seven cases of cutis marmorata telangiectatica congenita (CMTC) and the relevant literature. The cutaneous lesions of CMTC are characterized by a very different severity, with a frequent tendency to significant improvement with time. CMTC should be mainly differentiated from reticulated port-wine stain. Usually minor malformations can be associated to CMTC, representing the major clinical problem of the disease (Presented in the International Congress of Neonatal Dermatology, Bari, Italy, September 24-27, 1998).
