Abstract

In the most important books of pediatric dermatology of the last 50 years the definition od seborrheic dermatitis (SD) is not homogeneous. The description of SD does not match in many cases with the relevant illustrations. The criteria of differential diagnosis between SD and atopic dermatitis are not precise. Several patients with evident infantile psoriasis were used as example of SD.
