Abstract

Pemphigus herpetiformis is a disease clinically reminiscent of dermatitis herpetiformis or linear IgA dermatosis but it is pathogenetically determined by autoantibodies directed against desmosomes, as in pemphigus vulgaris. A case was reported in a 12-year-old girl and a review of the other 11 pediatric cases in the literature was performed.
