Infantile hemangioma is the most frequent tumor of children in the first months of life. Myofibroma, although being the most frequent infant fibromatous neoformation, is very rare. Despite some important clinical differences, the histological examination is diriment. The latter should be performed whenever the diagnosis of infantile hemangioma is not clinically sure.
