Capillary malformation/Arteriovenous malformation (CM/AVM) is a recently isolated syndrome characterized by cutaneous capillary malformations and arteriovenous malformations of the skin and central nervous system. This syndrome must be differentiated from the classical malformation known as port-wine stain.
