Approach to the newborn with a cutaneous tumor.

Abstract

Although malignant tumors of the skin are rare in children, they really exist and mainly affect (in 27% of cases) the first month of life. Therefore, whatever neoformation of difficult diagnosis in the newborn should raise the suspicion of a malignancy. The Authors propose a diagnostic algorythm.
